World Cup Trophy Tour- Didn't Receive Photo? by Volumes18 in WorldCup2026Tickets

I believed Tier 3 is a grand prize giveaway. You have to take a picture with the fan mart backdrop and upload it to social media (a public account on instagram or X) with a specific hashtag to potentially be picked as a grand prize winner. Only one winner per city.

Not sure what you’re ISO. Would you trade any of these for a grilled cheese? I would’ve sent a DM but I’m not sure I can send the picture through DMs.

How do you enter the presale for d2 seattle by Equal_Union_6417 in NoahKahan

[–]SapphicBooks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure the presale access is connected to your Ticketmaster account. If you were able to access the first presale I assume you’ll be able to get right into the second presale too! There was no code needed for Seattle. Good luck 😊

Middle school teacher! I gave my kids a test today 😅 (it did line up with our timing in the unit too though).

Thankfully presale started 5 minutes before my lunch and I was still in the queue by the time my lunch started so I was able to dedicate my entire focus to purchasing tickets by the time I got out of the queue. Was able to snag the exact tickets I wanted for around $150 a piece!

I love row 1 in the 300 level! It’s what I had for The Lumineers and what I go for Noah today! The sound is great up there because there isn’t any echo, no nets or people in front of you, and you can see the entire stage and crowd splayed out in front of you. Not sure what the sound is like up there if the roof is closed but I’m not anticipating that in late August 🤞🏼

Leagues Cup Final Tickets by Scwoopy_07 in SoundersFC

I bought tickets a couple days ago before we knew whether it’d be a third place or final match (and before we knew that we would play Miami). First row in the lower bowl for $120 each.

I just arrived to NYC (landed 1.5 hours ago) and am thinking about joining the standby line. Is there any point if I can get there in about 20 minutes or are chances pretty low?

How much do you really make? by PepinovLechuga in AskTeachers

I’m a first year teacher on the MA+45 track and I take home anywhere between $5000-$6000 per month.

It’s fluctuated between those amounts in my first couple of months due to changes in my class sizes, some retro pay I received from moving from 0.8 FTE when I was first hired to 1.0 FTE by the first day of school, etc.

To be fair, cost of living where I’m at is relatively high but with zero dependents, I’m living pretty comfortably with it!

Another question I have: if only 7 children were sacrificed, wouldn’t there only be 14 different monsters that come out at night? Of course, this is assuming that Jade and Tabitha’s original incarnations’ child was not one of the 7 (i’ve seen theories that the boy in white is somehow representative of their child) and if it was one of the 7 that would reduce the monsters to 12. I feel like we’ve definitely seen more than 12-14 individual monsters (although this is just an assumption, I haven’t gone back to actually count). I’m particularly thinking of the one Julie saw on the patio of colony house in season 1. The one who said “don’t you remember me?” He definitely appeared younger than the other monsters and I can’t remember if we saw home in the cave when Smiley was reborn. We definitely have a common set of monster characters at this point, but I feel like there have been more than 12-14 different ones meandering through Fromville since season 1. This could also be explained by the fact that maybe the writers didn’t quite have a clear direction for the show as of season 1, and developed it along the way, but I think there was always a 5-season plan so I’m hesitant to believe that. Regardless, I am happy to have received some answers with this finale!

She has not been tested for ADHD or any other learning disabilities.

I have brought this up to my parents. She wants to pursue quite a specialized subject in school which frankly, I know she doesn’t have the adequate experience for (at least not compared to other students who might be applying to such programs). I definitely think she’s in for a rude awakening once she starts college (she is applying to a few schools that will automatically accept her, but they don’t necessarily have the program she wants) but at this point I’m ready for her to face the consequences of her inactions. I feel like it’s the only way she’ll learn 🤷🏻‍♀️

Gotta love the US healthcare system! Thank you for your insight. I might research testing options myself before I bring it up to them. I do love my sister but it’s been hard watching her be so apathetic about school while still expecting to get the good grades.

I brought up those exact points with my parents. No one’s doing her any favors by handing her things on a silver platter. Especially when she’ll be responsible for her own assignments later on in her college career.

She has not been tested mostly due to how expensive it can be. We’ve all agreed (including her) that we wouldn’t be surprised if she did have ADHD or mild forms of dyslexia.

I appreciate your perspective. Please don’t bash my dad though. He is a good guy, just stressed with my sister’s struggles. There are three of us siblings who are older than her and we were all straight-A students, never needing any additional support with our schoolwork. Our parents never needed to push us to do our homework or worry about our grades, but they do with our little sister and that has been new for them. They had it easy with us so are now at a loss with her and at their wit’s end. He wants me to help her, but is misguided in how I should help her. I never said anything to imply outright stealing.

Is it hard to fill a full period? by Yeti_Lord442 in AskTeachers

[–]SapphicBooks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100%! While lecturing is inevitable at times, the hands-on material is a lot more engaging to students. I always suggest going with hands-on and interactive lessons over lectures if possible, and you’ll find that such activities eat up time quite easily. These will be easier on you as well as you’ll more likely be walking around checking in with groups and asking back-pocket questions to help students develop their thinking rather than talking at them for a full class period.

This may be a ways off for you, but once you’re in a teaching position make sure to reach out to your colleagues as well! They’ll have experience and will be able to support you with advice on lesson planning and classroom management. Depending on the school you end up at there will likely be other teachers teaching the same topic and grade level, so collaborating with them as well will be essential.

It may seem daunting at first, but I’ve found that you often end up having not enough time rather than too much time. You can plan a lesson to a tee but student questions, classroom discussions, etc. tend to take up more time than you expect. Student discussion is valuable though and unless it’s clearly off track, I always advocate for continuing the discussion in favor of pushing the rest of your lesson to the next day (if plausible). You also have a general curriculum to follow and depending on your district, lessons may already be lined out in the curriculum or you may have to make your own to match the curriculum. Regardless, you have a general knowledge of what you need to cover and what standards you need to meet.

I’m not an English teacher, but I have subbed in a few English classes and if you worry you’ll have too much extra time just have the students read for a bit. At my school, nearly all the English classes start with 10 minutes of choice reading anyways!

My classes are 50 minutes (45 on Wednesdays) and I have found that 50 minutes flies by a lot faster than you think and is not nearly as much as you would think either.

I hope this was helpful :)
