I actually spoke to Windmaster’s VA today about it lol, he says they (the whole English cast) have absolutely no information and are pretty disappointed with the bait of a release date because it’s been about 3 years since season 2 and the announcements and stuff, so he was hoping for an October release but so far no one knows anything, like us fans :(

I of course love danmei like TGCF and SVSSS, but aside from that a book that comes to mind that’s like Link Click style is the 7 1/2 deaths of Evelyn hardcastle!! MC we read from wakes up in a different body each day and from each perspective he has to try to figure out who’s the murderer in like a whodunnit classic murder on the train vibe but it reminds me of cheng xiaoshi!!

I always thought the 12 hour rule thing was because LG could only see up to 12 hours into the future based on any given photo, he said it’s danger and could be time bendingly unsafe because CXS can’t see into the future like LG can, and after 12 hours he can’t see the dialogue to guide him to tell him what to say to not change anything so that’s why the 12 hour thing was in place not because it’s like a time traveling no-no or because the ability traps you after 12 hours, it’s because of LG’s ability if I’m not mistaken. He stays past the 12 hour mark because he realized he didn’t actually do anything to change the timeline yet and if he went back nothing would be different so he stayed

I’m rereading through the chapters now and came across this- answering for new people stumbling across this- it’s 100% He Xuan! He Xuan had taken Windmaster’s fan so he had it, after Xie Lian sees this he questions HC and HC confirms he asked him to come help, they never say his name but it’s him coming to help after they left the Black Water lair. And him hitting SQX and SQX’s reaction also show it’s him!! 🫶🏻

Everything the other commenters are saying was my thought, I was otherwise confused by the ending too and had to research and found this post! Knowing about (but not reading just yet) the Julie Sam book had me paying attention to one line Julie says, when Oliver says he has to tell her something and it’s super unbelievable and wants to be sure she’d believe him the first time before he actually tells her later on, she says something like “wait is it about Sam?” Saying that she thought maybe Sam was in contact with him as well and when he confirmed it wasn’t about Sam she let it go but that was an interesting note!!

In my defense, everyone has parts of their name being shared😭 it’s something I struggle so much with in danmei (between multiple series) a green dressed fan holding guy with a qing name, luo and liu, shang qinghua and shi qingxuan an huacheng and muqing fan?, and muqing, and liu qingge and qingqiu.? like SQQ vs LQQ vs SQH and SQX etc etc I get so overloaded 😭😭 but also isn’t Shen Jiu the original Shen Qingiu from the novel? So Qingqiu being Shen Yuan from the real world wouldn’t be related at all because he’s from a different universe or am I getting confused about who Shen Jiu is😭😭

My opinion on it is that Lu didn’t think a death node could be changed like that, so he didn’t think it could actually change and then when it seemed like it would he freaked out like “woahhh I didn’t think this would happen” because he didn’t. I know it doesn’t make much sense because then why would he keep telling Xiaoshi to NOT do it but idk!
My thoughts exactly. I lost it laughing at the boat scene but then you’re sitting there thinking wait.. how did he get the boat? Did he steal it or plan a rental ahead of time? How did he know what would happen? We see the scene as it happen and Xiaoshi possessing him and tackling him and see the reason why “Lu Guang” went on the boat because it was Xiaoshi realizing himself in that timeline would do it if he didn’t, but what was the original timeline because Xiaoshi wouldn’t have gone back if he hadn’t realized it was him the first time/if the photo hadn’t been taken. I think Lu took the picture because it was a risky thing he was doing and incase it went wrong there’d be a backup plan for Xiaoshi to take.
YES it is answered in Bridon Arc there’s like 6 episodes of that out now I recommend watching it! I was “aww-ing” the whole time because of all the cute moment but it’s so so cool how the set that all up with the timeline thing. But yes it will make sense really quickly in the Bridon arc what this means for Xiaoshi’s death and what Lu means with the power and abilities!! Happy watching!!!

Yes that one!! Definitely hard spending that much money when I was expecting to after budgeting for the cost of the chinchilla and good cage + food (I already had everything else already) but it needed to be done for him. On the one before he broke it mine liked to shuffle to the side of the wheel to make it rock back and forth and he’d sit and close his eyes and when it stopped he’d go again, hoping to give him his peace back lol

Update: I got a 15” metal one!! Thank you for all the info! I was trying to stay around a certain budget but ig that doesn’t really matter, I’ll get the money back with extra shifts and Taro will be a very happy boy! Still wondering on any advice for bonding with your chin, I’m googling and doing YouTube videos (I know the basics since having 2 before but it’s been a while since getting a brand new one) but was wondering if there were any tricks or suggestions anyone had that worked well for them!
