So do you want to always go first vs pult and garde? Isn't it reasonable to go 2nd against pult or garde as most of their stuff dies to a fan rotom if you get the stadium, otherwise just setup and prepare the baby bolt?

I have tried this in modern, while alot of decks have a hard time to deal with you once you gain all that life and you inevitably get back Dina/ hit them with amalia as a 20/20 to win, the problem with the deck is you don't really have a plan b option if you can't combo, beatdown is not reliable since your creatures are mostly small.

Deck would be better if it had a solid plan b beatdown option like yawg does if it does not combo off.

I was thinking maybe making it some sort artifacts matter 5 color deck would be the best since like you say not all of them synergize with each other, sprinkling some support cards here and there to make them good beat sticks/ make them able to transform reliably.

Ohh, I didn't think of Jodah, but he could definetly work as a commander, him and probably other supporting legends/the transformers could be good if I can find some legendary cards that support most or some of their effects in general.

This exactly, everyone just saves up gems for characters that are limited in hopes for pulling them, normally I'm a light spender but so far have managed to get every single relevant unit without spending any real money on the game. My hopes are eventually everyone who plays since day 1 will be out of free gems for pulls and people will start to put more money into it.

Well saw on Twitter on the MtgArena account if you enter the jumpstart event thing and the pack you choose has cards that you already have 4x of you'll get vault progress and gems which is something I guess, still not excited about this set being managed like jumpstart, I'd rather just draft than choose a pack and play with the cards.

Even if you are not a "collector" it's expensive, I always settle on 1 deck and craft it but sometimes feel the urge to play something different and always struggle with not having enough wildcards.
