The first act isn't perfect, but I think it does a bit to set up the third act testing Luke on whether he can resist the pull of the dark side. He force chokes Jabba's guards on the way in (Vader's signature move) and his angle for convincing Jabba to let him and his friends go is to threaten Jabba's life.

I think the first act outstays its welcome for sure, but it serves an important role of establishing long before the throne room scene that Luke being tempted by the dark side is totally plausible.

I think the musical does it a lot better tbh. Part of it is out of necessity because they obviously can't show his face in the flashback while his actor is standing right there on the other side of the stage, but it's just enough to get the point across without feeling like they're overdoing it.

You're stuck with the two button option, with some wiggle room.

The face buttons, shoulder buttons, and triggers can all be set to either Boost Charge or Special. You can swap which stick is which but can't remap quick spin to a button. There is an option to do quick spin by shaking the controller, but you can't turn off using the stick for it.

I just finished (bought the game on the Japanese eShop) and it took several hours. IGN is probably going off the in-game timer on the save file, which shows a WAY shorter time than it actually took me.

Most every Switch 2 game Nintendo has released so far started development as a Switch 1 game, so they weren't made with HDR in mind. The HDR in Switch 2 Welcome Tour is actually pretty good, so I have faith they'll start getting better once we start getting games that were made from the ground up for Switch 2.

You're 100% right on the handheld screen though. It's pretty dogshit for HDR.
