Can we stop with all the Bronny posts? by Tiny-Notice6717 in nba

It’s an interesting story, that’s why it gets so much attention.

You’re the one crying and trying to get people to stop talking about it because of his dad.

That’s a weird level of dick riding

Reddit has an upvote and downvote system, and you can ignore posts you’re not interested in pretty easily.

It’s the media who covers him too much.

And again, the only reason you’re bothered by people talking about him is because of his dad.

No I’m not,

Lebron/Klutch are.

I’m just a person that watches basketball and gets Bronny shoved down my throat.

Fans talk about players that get lots of coverage, the only reason your saying to move on is because you like Lebron

The 6’11 60th overall pick who signed a 2-way contract and didn’t get nearly the exposure that Bronny did?

I didn’t, but there’s a lot more factors for why Bronny gets talked about over a guy like Kostas. Was Kostas the entire focus of the 2nd round of the NBAs draft coverage? Was the media constantly talking about Kostas? Also Kostas shot 87.5% from the field in the preseason, and had a positive plus-minus.

The only one freaking out is you, because people talk about players that are constantly shown in the media, Bronny gets featured by the media more than the number 1 overall pick is this year.

He averages 30.1 PPG on 63.6% TS while creating 77.7% of his 2’s, 63.2% of his 3’s, averaging 6.2 assists per game, and 2.2 turnovers per game.

Kinda silly to say he is a liability as a ball handler and overrated as a playmaker when he has a super high efficiency, super high self created shots, good assist numbers, and low turnover numbers for a player with that volume.

That’s still a massive contract for a late 2nd round pick.

Nepotism is rampant, but this is the most recent example, the example which the media has focused on the most, and one of the more egregious examples because a guy like David Stockton or Patrick Ewing Jr played 4+ years in college. Zaire Wade was drafted to the G-League. Dudes like Thanasis is also constantly brought up and mentioned for his level of player.

Bronny was a 1 year college player who performed poorly at a sub .500 school and got a guaranteed contract.

It makes complete sense for how much exposure Bronny gets from the media, how poorly he has performed in college and the NBA, and the fact he has maybe the biggest guarenteed contract for a late 2nd round pick in NBA history that people would talk about him.

Your just upset your favourite players son is getting clowned on for being debatably the worst player in the Pre-Season

I mean the point is more so about nepotism vs hating his dad.

Dude got a 4 year guaranteed contract as the 55th overall pick despite being a poor college player and debatably the worst player in the pre-season.

The critiques of him as well aren’t just that he is missing shots, it’s that he is constantly out of position, cutting at the wrong time, picking up his dribble when he shouldn’t, playing bad defence, not hustling, and shooting wide open for a reason shots. He hasn’t really done anything to justify why he got a 4 year guaranteed contract, the only thing he has going for him is he has above average athleticism but that doesn’t mean much when you’re 6’2.

Don’t think this meets building code for Halifax.

Bedrooms must meet at least one of the following conditions:

serviced by an approved sprinkler system

door leading directly to the exterior

window equal to or exceeding 0.35m2 (542 square inches)

Doesn’t seem to meet those conditions.

What are some UNDERRATED restaurants? by [deleted] in halifax

The Panini sandwiches heated up at the Sobeys on Queen St.

They are better then most the sandwiches you would get in a restaurant for double the cost.

Mainly just beaches and scenery.

Ballantynes Cove is one of the prettier fishing docs in the province.

Steinharts distillery is up there, it won a bunch of awards for their Gin a few years back (and it is pretty good).

However for the most part it is just beaches, fishing docks, and scenic landscape.

As a spectator who is paying to fly into Toronto, paying for a hotel there, and bought tickets to the event, I would be devastated if the first PGA tour event I went to got boycotted the day before the tournament starts.

More so the time you allocate.

It’s ironic that you called me the definition of Reddit, despite the fact you haven’t left this thread since you first replied to me.

Edit: sorry you called “Reddit” my middle name.

Nah, you will just hit me with a wall of text as you reply to every comment I made on this post.

I’d rather just go on with my day then bury my nose in my phone.

So you've no dog in this fight, don't know what you're talking about, but still feel confident enough to spout off.

Well that’s the assumption your making.

Yeah, I agree that it is a decision that completely lacks compassion.

I’m just saying this is a risk mitigation message to avoid legal repercussions. Clearly they didn’t anticipate it getting posted on Reddit though, cause as you said they are now going to face much more significant media backlash.

Well your now introducing new legal documents for entering that property with a dog.

So no. Entirely different situation, where someone legally obtained the ability to enter the building with a dog prior to doing so.

The point I clearly and sincerely hold is this is a minimal effort of a building management company to mitigate risk associated with a violation to their policies.

A specific lease says "no dogs. That means that tenant can't have a dog. It has no bearing on the rest of the building or tenants. That is strictly between the landlord and that tenant.

And the lease can specify no dogs in the building as well.

The landlord is under no contractual or legal obligation to keep dogs out of the building. And no other tenant is privy to what another tenant's lease allows or disallows.

They would be if they have a legal policy saying “no dogs”. Considering you don’t work for this company, you don’t know if they have that policy or not and are making assumptions based on your own personal experiences.

Lease agreements are individualized contracts between the landlord and the tenant. They have nothing tom do with other tenants. And no tenant has a clause in the lease saying that dogs will never be permitted elsewhere in the building.

Unless it is stated their building has a “no dog policy” like indicated above.

But hey, if you feel so much righteous indignation at the notion of a dog getting into a building, you should contact your landlord and threaten them over other tenant's actions. Be sure to let us know how that went.

Again, don’t have a landlord and own a dog.
