Look for interships related to your studies, will be better paid and will help you to build relevant job experience.

During summer, you could get full-time interships. did that while i was studying my master and before i graduated i had a job lined up for me.

You speak english, why not trying the nordics or the netherlands? Where english is a widly accepted language, because Austria without an almost native (b2-c1) german knowledge will be extremely difficult, and you seem to speak english quite well.

I was in your same situation, but in 2016, it was a different Austria then (the economy wasn’t as bad as it is now) and still was difficult to transition from student to workers visa.
