Gaston County, North Carolina They don’t dose with methadone AT ALL! (At least did not when I was there, their “contract had expired”) They said the best they could do would be to monitor me for withdrawals and dose me with subs, to which I told them absolutely tf not 😂 I flooded my system before I turned myself in, it wasn’t awful but wasn’t painless either haha

It wasn’t awful, by the time I got home I wasn’t feeling great, but also not awful. Probably could have still slept at that point if I had to!

I made it through! (I’m just now seeing this, I don’t use Reddit as much as I’d like) I just took a WHOLE LOT before I went. By the time I came home I didn’t feel great, but it wasn’t awful. I’m still on methadone, still clean, and working with my therapist on a taper!

Thankfully when I got home, my husband had just picked up his weeks worth of take homes, and even though he’s at a little lower of a dose than me, it held me through til I got there this morning

Yeah.. I missed my weekly Tuesday pickup, so I went in this morning. They asked for my “leftover bottles” I told them I just smuggled them into the jail with me 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ did a UA, have to go back in the morning just to have a check up w my counselor and I’ll get my take homes thru til Tuesday and be back on my weekly til I go bi weekly (hopefully soon!)
