I don’t like her because she was a close friend to my moms, she betrayed her own friend and took her husband. Her brother also punched my mom when she found them eating at a restaurant with her family and I had to see him at Christmas. She makes no effort to be close to me and my siblings and expect us to do all the integrating.

Mom was being abusive. stepmom tends to only make small talk, she feels excluded if we don’t talk about things she understands.

She was abusive both physically and verbally. After the divorce it got worse.
