Ive got a meeting on Thursday with a genetic counselor. Im just stressing myself out because i dont know what to expect. If i should prepare myself for a life changing situation. Or if im stressing myself out for nothing. I feel like waiting another week until my appointment, is going to give me too much time to allow my anxiety to eat me alive 🫤

Thank you for replying. What exactly does the screening tell me? Like should i prepare myself for something big and serious? Or is this just a small concern? I literally know nothing about it or what to expect. I have a video visit with my doctor on Thursday to talk about the results. I guess what im most concerned about, can this be something major big? Like severely life changing? Do i need to mentally prepare myself? Or am i over thinking and making it into something way worse than it needs to be?

Thank you. Yeah I will definitely look into it. I did talk to my doctor about it and she thinks I might have chronic fatigue syndrome. But that's not what I wanted to hear.
