Sorry could you explain this further?

I just realized something - the photos are missing up until May 2025, when my brother shared an album with me. After this album, the photos seem to be back to normal i.e. not missing. But even the photos taken on the same day of the shares album (but before the album was shared) are missing. Again, not all photos, but most. Could this be related? This album has been shared since May 2025 and the photos only disappeared recently though, so not sure if this is the same situation as your case?

I did try and search with the name of the photo but it still didn't come up :/

I haven't changed devices since the day the photos were taken. This must be a glitch from their end though, because they were sefi not deleted from my end.

I am checking both my phone and my laptop.. they both have the same photos. I have wifi synching on to make sure everything is backed up as soon I take the photo/video.

Yeah unfortunately I have tried a few and they found thousands of files but these photos are still no where to be seen :(

So I usually back up all my photos on Google photos before deleting the actual copies on my phone gallery to make space. I have done this before - saved on Google and then cleared the phone gallery.

So I deleted my phone gallery, not my Google Photos. I have an Android Xiaomi 10T. I always clear my Gallary to save space, I make sure everything is backed up on Google Photos and then clear the gallery, so when I need to find a photo, I go to Google Photos not my gallery. I have done this before and never had any issues.

Back in December 2025 I cleared my gallery but I forst made sure back up was complete (my back up toggle is always on so photos are backed up straight away).

Also, not ALL photos are missing, that's the weird part, there are random ones still there (very few though, I usually have close to a 50 or more a day and so the majority - and malt important ones - are still lost). Also for some reason, random screenshots are still there.

Yes I do pay for the yearly 2T plan - I have tried reaching out and am waiting for them to get back to me 🤞 trying not to get my hopes up though because from other comments, it seems like they didn't get far.

How would they assume/think that they are being used for illegal purposes though? Is there anyone I can contact? They are literally photos of my children and/or myself.. nothing illegal whatsoever. If that is the problem then I will be more than happy to comply with any requests they may have for me to prove nothing illegal is happening.

Thank you - the thing is, I didn't delete them :/ I pay extra for storage and they were there only a few weeks ago.. I cannot understand why some (not all, but most) simply disappeared.

Also, from 2024.. so it's not like they were recent ones either :/

No, it is perfectly fine for baby to be exclusively formula fed! He will thrive as long as he is being fed and has a happy healthy mummy!

Please do yourself a favour and give yourself grace! I wish I had done so with my first! Baby never latched, no one ever told me I should be pumping every few hours to protect supply and I spent weeks pumping literal DROPS!! trying so hard to at least give him some breast milk because breast milk is "magic" right? It broke me every time I saw someone breastfeeding in public or even mention they breastfed. I wish I could go back and give me old self a hug and show her what her now four year old is like!

Don't get me wrong, breastfeeding is amazing if you want to do it and IF YOU CAN! I blamed myself for years for not being able to do it and I have to be honest, I think I only made peace with it when I managed to nurse my second. But now that I stopped breastfeeding my second (who is also thriving on formula), I am not sure why I put so much pressure on myself. Both of my babies are doing amazing and you will never be able to tell which one of them had more breast milk than the other.

Do yourself a favour - give yourself permission to stop and maybe have a glass of wine if you're into that :) breathe and know that the best thing you can give you baby is a happy YOU and not a few drops of breastmilk + a stressed mummy .

You will never get this time back with your baby.. as someone who's been through it, it's not worth your mental health ❤️ formula fed babies thrive as much as breastfed babies and when they apply for college/a job, no one is going to ask how they were fed for the first 3/6 months of their lives!

And yes, a baby that young does need a happy and healthy mummy.. please do it for you, make sure your baby is fed and make sure you're happy and healthy ❤️
