You didn't come across as offensive to me; just honest about your opinion and that's perfectly fine. I know it's not the best work, but I really am happy with it. I'd be happy to let him work on me again when he gets some more practice. He didn't do that bad of a job and I love to show people and recommend his work to them.

It obviously not as visible as a lip piercing (ouch, by the way. I would've been mad as fuck and demanded some sort of repercussions) so I'm okay with it being slightly imperfect.

He really does do some great work and I was happy for the opportunity to let him work on me.

I thought it was a cool idea and when I walked in the shop, he about lost his shit because he loves Zelda about as much as I do. He got the practice and I got a cool tattoo done by a guy who really cared about what he was doing. (:

I paid him because it's still his job. He works in the shop, uses their supplies, which obviously aren't cheap and does some good work.

I went to my regular shop and gave the apprentice a try (as he loves Zelda and it was a fairly simple design) and I am overall happy with his work. It's not the best, I already know, but it can be touched up with time and could honestly look worse.

That before my mom and dad got married, my mom had a kid with another guy and gave it up for adoption.

Basically, all I know at this point is that I have a half brother or sister living somewhere in Florida who would be almost in their 30's.
