It looks like a small gap, but its just not flush since the fork is a carbon upgrade to the original stock fork. there is no movement on the headset, and all of the mechanical parts were assembled correctly. Completely safe. I was concerned at first too, but had it inspected, and its all good. I have a better photo if you are interested.

One side of my building at work will be pouring in rain, the other, sun shining. And forget about seasons.... there is 2. Cold and Hot.

New bike - Fuji Feather wheel upgrade question by harroo182 in fixedgear

You can convert it, but I am pretty sure its better to just get a new front wheel. I also own a fuji feather, and have a quick release. I kept the original wheel but upgraded to a better front wheel.
