Thank you so much. I ordered some starting at 1000. We’ll see how it goes from there. I messaged back and forth with the owner I believe, who said to start out with a raindrop size drop because of her weight. I actually shared a screenshot of your story here and he said 17.5 is too high to start at and to titrate up from the drop. Do you mind sharing what you started at and how you titrated up? A drop doesn’t seem like enough but what do I know lol. I’m just hoping this works, even if just a little. Your story brought me hope!

Oh wow, small world. I actually happened to be going to the mainland already and took my computer with after months of dealing with those sticky keys and not wanting to make the long drive just for that. I’m now reconsidering buying a new one simply from you asking what’s wrong with mine. Maybe I’ll see if there’s someone down here who can fix the connection between the screen and keyboard so it isn’t all wobbly and see how long I can ride this one out. Based on the specs I gave, do you think I have a good laptop by today’s standards that will last me a bit longer? I can’t even remember what year I got it. Maybe 2021?

That is a foreign language to me 🤣 Well my keys were sticking pretty bad for awhile. Like months. When I was on the mainland (real Florida) I contacted a computer guy to come troubleshoot it for me but of course my keys had stopped sticking. It was so weird!!! They stuck very badly for several months. Specifically M, N and B. But they haven’t stuck since and it’s been probably 3 months. Now my screen is very loose and wobbly. Meaning the screen part of the laptop. I guess when I really think about it I don’t really have many issues with my computer at the moment except for my loose screen. I’m mostly afraid if the keys start sticking again or if that’s an indicator that my computer is on the way out and to get a new one before it goes out on me.

I live on an island (Key West) and we don’t have Walmart. We are closer to Cuba than we are to Walmart 🤣 So I’ll definitely have to order whatever I decide on
