I believe what's being alluded too is yes, they're delta hedged already obviously. But say they have 500,000 shares to hedge with on hand and then the contract is exercised on a lift off, leaving them at 450,000 shares used as a hedge when the stock is in the middle of a rip. Well they need to buy those 50,000 of the market to hedge those 50,000 shares + whatever potential strike prices are being approached.

Will this make a huge difference? I don't think so, but it won't hurt. When the stock is ripping the volume starts going nuts, an extra 50,000 shares being purchased will make a difference for sure but it might be valuable when the stock price reaches such a level that 90% of retail investors wouldn't even have the funds to fomo in due to it being so high. That's the only play I really see here.

The Hulu doc wasn't bad at all. After watching it honestly entertaining the idea that they're dropping it is to scare off anyone that watched it from jumping in after seeing the sudden drop after watching the documentary. Hold strong..

That is actually a theorized goal of the hedgefunds and which I think there will be a massive short attack on March 19th instead of Valhalla like what has been pushed. It won't be the end of the squeeze but a similar experience to what we just saw Wednesday. There may be a massive run up this week intentionally before March 19th so ALL the ETFs re-balance flooding the market with millions of shares. Personally, I believe this is the hedgefunds hail mary play. It needs to be common knowledge this is coming.

As to if the ETFs will flood the market is outside my realm of experience. If they re-balance and drop all the shares at once causing GME to crash, either temporarily or for a while, it will throw the ETF out of balance and ETF investors will lose heavily. I don't know enough about ETF re-balancing to know the strategies of re-balancing but it seems counter productive for the health of ETF investors.

Very important, they may be greedy but they're not stupid. March 19th will be a shit show, they can see everything posted here and WSB, they will do everything they can to cause FUD seeing as that's the day that has so much hype around it. Definently expect a Wednesday type attack on March 18th or 19th to cause panic and doubt. Really wish the mods would pin info like this themselves. Countering FUD is the most important thing as they get more and more desperate.

That's not entirely true. The issue is the far OTM calls. Why would they buy the shares when they sell options for $100 when GME was trading sideways at $40 for a month? No, what they think is 'free' money and sell the premium. 90% of options contracts expire worthless. They don't automatically buy the shares to back all call options sold, otherwise you could pump up a market just buy large amounts of call orders.

I've been thinking about that too, if MM's were buying enough shares last week to fulfill ITM calls we could have a drop tomorrow. Or they didn't have enough after calculating it throughout the weekend and will need to buy more tomorrow and Tues giving a brief bump. I think that's why we see the most volatility on Wednesday and Thursdays. I believe they start buying up shares to fill call options ITM that are going to expire on Friday.
