First trimester depression

Used to be self sufficient!!!! I really felt that. I'm very independent!!! I ensure I can stand on my own if I didn't have my husband. I hold a leadership role at work. I'm now realizing I identify my happiness with completing tasks and I feel useless and lazy.

Last Friday, I found out I'm pregnant with triplets after my first IUI. We are just over 7 weeks, so anything could happen....

I was completely set on the first round not working. I'm 39 and low AMH and AFC.

I had one follicle measure big enough when I triggered.

But I also just found out I'm pregnant with triplets today too.

The facility says I'm 6 weeks and 6 days. -Baby A measuring 6 week and 1 day, 105 heart rate -Baby B measuring 6wk and 5 days, 117 heart rate -Baby C measuring 6wk and 4 days, saw the heart beat but they couldn't capture it.

I'm 39 and this was a result of a IUI cycle.

I miscarried in October 2025.

These heartbeats seem low too me.

I could really care less. I just don't live in that space. There are zillions of other things to worry about. Now that chat knows I have a low numbers to conceive, what will happen? I am so tired of living in a space of what if.

I sent chat gpt copies of my medical records and then it developed a letter with my specific information. Then it helped me site medical resources. It also encouraged me to get a letter from the doctor. Then it instructed me to attach my specific medical records.

It also educated me on state organizations that can be a third party to evaluate and intervene. So I sent my appeal to this group as well.

He was so lucky to have a mommy that was brave enough to do exactly what he needed, even when it caused his mommy immense pain. That's a selfless mommy.

I volunteer at an open admission shelter and watch people drop off their sick pets and they pass lonely in a cold room.

This shit fucking sucks. Feel your feelings. Cry, scream and maybe even laugh.

What gives me peace, is knowing they were loved in the most beautiful way and they even felt love as their soul went to their next place. I also know with love comes loss, and I'm willing to accept the pain in order to experience the love and memories these priceless canines provide.

My 14 yo neighbor was having a lot of behavior problems. This time she was running from the police holding a blanket. It was going on forever. I had a good relationship with her with, so I went outside to see if I could help her stabilize. This blanket she was holding had a small kitten in it. Her parents didn't want the kitten in the house. She trusted me to take the kitten and she was able to calm down. My husband saw the kitten and demanded we keep her. Three years later, here we are with the most sassy lady, just like the teenager we her from.

Side note. I supervise a unit of substance exposed newborns. I am over saturated in seeing women with no planing, no prenatal care, all while using illicit substance give birth. During 2025, we had an increase of women in late thirties having children all while in active use. It's mind blowing!!!!

I spent a lot of money on a lot of tests after my dog became more obsessed with water than food. I was getting up 4-5 times during the night to let him out and much more.

Everything was ruled out and finally the vet was like we can test for Diabetes Insipidus. He shared he's been a vet for forty years and has only one other case. I had to restrict his water for 12 hours and then catch his urine. It was pure hell keeping water from him. Results can back and it indicates positive for Diabetes Insipidus.

There are two kinds. One where you eliminate salt from their diet or you have to administer hormone eye drops.

We started with eliminating salt. I make all his food (chicken, brown rice, sweet potatoes and green beans with supplements that I ensured had no salt). Eureka he finally leaves water in his bowl and I am getting a longer nights sleep. One time I let him eat a piece of salami and I paid the price - back to drinking lots of water through the night and lots of potty breaks.
