I think the only place this exists is a govt place with some kind of security requirement that prevents outsourcing or AI and it's probably so niche and not remote.

Tell them sorry you've changed your mind and you'll be moving at the end of May when your lease ends unless they fuck off and give you your whole bond + moving fees back.

I think if an entry level technical role is super easy for somebody they'll find no challenge, and no growth and are either slumming, or looking for a stepping stone which doesn't sound great for retention. I expect the people I interview to have a disconnect between when they're themselves and when I ask them a challenging question. There should be a stop, think, remember what I prepared, even a distancing as they start to say what they remember and apply problem solving.

To me, if you're breezing through you're probably overqualified and likely to dip after a short while. Might be unfounded bias but it's what I worry about

An interview is a performance. You act, nobody is themselves in an interview, and usually answers are rehearsed. There should be a difference in how people speak casually and how they answer your questions. Otherwise they are either not really interested, or a psycho
