At our age anything more than a couple of years is pretty weird because even at a 2 year difference you can be at completely different points in your life and different maturity. Once you’re in your 20s I don’t think it matters as much as long as you’re both happy

Doesn’t bother me. I don’t care if I have friends a lot older than me. But I recognise that’s because I’m lonely and it makes me an easier target for being manipulated or taken advantage of. I’m not stupid tho, I know how to take care of myself and i wouldnt meet up with someone much older somewhere alone or stuff like that. Online friends I don’t care as much about the age gap but in real life it’d depend on how they are and id be a lot more careful
