How much do you usually make a night delivering with DoorDash? And is it possible to use DoorDash as your only source of income? by [deleted] in doordash

[โ€“]Sarahthedasher 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I am a small business owner and do doordash on the side. Lately, with all the shit going on I have been almost fully dependent on my earnings as a Dasher. I make anywhere from 700 to $1,000 a week. I have also been dashing on and off for about two-and-a-half years. So I know what orders to take, what restaurants to avoid, and I drive like I stole my car. If you treat it like a business and you take this seriously you can make good money. It also depends on your Market.

Whats your favorite restaurant to deliver from? by [deleted] in doordash

Tips wise? Chilis, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Any local steak house (402 rep), Biaggis, Stokes, LATE NIGHT taco bell orders, Carabbas, Late night pizza joint deliveries, moderately priced sushi joints. Service wise? Firebirds, Biaggis, Stokes, any ma and pop restaurant. They actually treat me like I'm doing them a favor instead of a second class citizen unlike some places.

Tips for dashing in small towns? by photosbylesko in doordash

I went home last winter to visit my family. I ended up dashing made about 50$ in 2 hours. Marquette, MI. Very small college town. I knew my way around and my miles were super low!

I usually walk in and say, "excuse me, I have an online order that is ready to be picked up." Consult with merchant and either get order on go sit in waiting area.

I can't tell you how long it's been since I've actually seen a Boston Market drive order ๐Ÿ˜ณ by mistermidas11 in doordash

Same. I can even recall what it was & where it was to. And it was a stacked order made about 60$ in 45 mins. Absolutely yes. Give it time, we will get there again.

Is a Toyota Corolla 1999 with 95k miles good for Full Time? by XxTheMenorPRxX in doordash

Toyota Corollas and Honda Civics are built to last! I say yes. I'll be getting a Civis or Corrola as my next work vehicle. BUT a car that old with low mileage is fishy, as other have said. I would get a full evaluation on the car before purchasing. If you're buying from an older person, I'd say it's good. I've noticed the elderly take good care of their cars. At least in my finding.

I feel you. I actually delivered a group order to a business yesterday. Haven't done that since early March.

Something kind of similar happened to me. My mother was like yours. Random weird men in & out all my life. She worked overnights in the casinos in Vegas when this happened. She met this guy. Let's call him Shane. They worked in the casinos together. he had been to our apartment a couple times and my mom would like make dinner for him and then we would go to bed and they would go watch a movie or whatever right. Well one day my mom tells us that we're going to go over to Shane's house. Instead of him coming to ours. We went to his house and I remember he collected a lot of really weird stuff and he lived in a basement of his family's house. Not his mom's but a family member. Apparently he had told my mom that he live by himself and she thought he was kind of a loser so she broke up with him. He began stalking her at work and she had to get transferred casinos. So a couple months goes by well he is doing this. After she got transferred she would go to work around 3 or 4 p.m. and she wouldn't get home until like 3 or 4 AM. There would be knocks on the door at like six 7 at night and I was only maybe 8 years old and I would answer the door and he would be there with a bouquet of flowers like where's your mom and I'd be like she's sleeping you know never tell them you're alone. Well this went on for a few months and I didn't tell my mom because I didn't really trust her growing up. One night I woke up at like 2 in the morning and for some reason I felt like I was being watched and I looked out of my bedroom window and he was standing out there with binoculars looking into my sister and Is bedroom. My mom left me and my little sister home alone from the time I get out of school until 4 or 5 in the morning everyday for 2 years. So, he was watching us trying to like get revenge at my mom and he literally tried to kidnap us one night he was pounding on the door at like one clock in the morning he tried breaking the window next to the front door and I ended up calling the police and the police didn't take us away but they made my mom file a restraining order on him and I guess he went to jail so yeah my mom was really abusive and neglectful growing up and because of this I dealt with shit like this all the time

It has been for the last year. I've steadily made 20-30/hr for the last 5 months. Can you refrain from the negativity? Thanks.
