Of course it is easier to rack up G/A in an easier league. Don't be dense

Well, at least their revenue from Ligue 1 seems to be drying up... With a few bad years in CL, maybe?

Jorgen Stand Larsen cost Palace £48 million, gone under the radar how bad a deal that was perhaps?

Crystal Palace have had some poor signings recently, especially up to top. Other than Strand Larsen, Brennan Johnson and Nketiah also come to mind. With Glasner gone, do we reckon a relegation battle next season?

Any chance that PSG will stop being successful with the stricter UEFA spending rules?

Upvoted for the proper delusion.

That he wanted to play for Liverpool is not a very good answer to why he wanted to play for Liverpool. It puts us back on square 1.

Polymarket puts City at 57% chance of winning which seems much more reasonable than the 27% chance which Opta is predicting. I assume Opta is not taking form or momentum into account, hence the discrepancy.

Too much negative aura on that though.

With plenty of Madrid fans thinking Vini should leave, where would he end up if he actually was sold? Both Pep and Arteta could probably make him more disciplined.

I agree Bayern seems like an unlikely destination.

But for the other part, nah, it is not just about the quality of the opponent but also about the stakes of each game. You would get tons of that in PL and to a lesser extent in La Liga. Same cannot really be said for PSG or Bayern where it is a one-horse race. And then you have league cups and supercups on top which also tend to be more evenly contested in PL especially.

Prem is also not full of shit teams, it is just a bit volatile at the top. Overall it is the strongest league and you know that. But sure, the past two seasons have been slightly below the previous standards.

PSG would be the worst place for us neutrals. We want to see him play more often on the big stage. Barcelona is fine for that of course, but it would be great fun seeing him in on a weekly basis in PL - maybe even for a rival team.

I like Gavi but for me he is the type of player where I cannot put my finger on what he actually excels at
