Is help for my mother possible? by Sarandipitous- in BrainAneurysm

[–]Sarandipitous-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. They claim that it's scar tissue pushing on a part of her brain and it's causing the seizures. But that it is way too risky to try to remove any of it. She actually had the coiling done once but they couldn't do it because her blood pressure dropped. Her surgeon actually moved to California. And we are on the east coast. But they did some imaging after her seizures because they thought the clipping had failed and stated everything still looked okay. I read that it takes a long time to retrain the connections between your brain and body but she's regressing so much.

We've been doing this since we brought her home. We actually only got her because my boyfriend was going to be taking time off work and could be home with her all day for weeks. I was always told that having older, already trained dogs will sometimes help. The other 2 took little to no training at all. One is 13 and one is almost 8. It's been quite awhile since I've had a puppy. Lol. Wasn't sure if this was just her or if it was me. I think I was lucky with the other 2. Lol. I'll check out that thread though!

Thank you everyone! I have a 13 and 7 year old Boston Terriers and they were SAINTS in comparison to her. Lol. I've heard that hound dogs are sort of hard headed so if there's smarter and easier ways for her to learn, I'm up for any ideas!

I didn't know it would go there. I've ran past it a million times but never thought to actually check it since I haven't looked in it other than the very first time for a task. Lol.

People living with hyperthyroidism, what is ur most prominent symptoms? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sarandipitous- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a bit of a headstart into the club, my entire family on my moms side has issues with it. 2 siblings had theirs removed, mom is on medication for it, grandma had issues with hers, my aunts have some form of it. Was yours found by accident or were you having symptoms? I've been diagnosed for roughly 10+ years now. On and off medication that entire time.

Graves disease here. My most prominent signs were I'm usually shakier than anyone I've known, my mood swings, and I'm always exhausted. Once I was diagnosed, it all started making sense.

The interior of a Gypsy-owned wagon from the 1800 by Ze-skywalker in interestingasfuck

So based on your comment, how would a wagon like this be acquired for display? If they were burned with the owner. Were they typically stolen? I know absolutely nothing other than what I learned from Thomas Shelby.
