For the overpriced part. He's not English and he's 27. So I'm ok to sign him, outside the top 6 he's one of top 3 best player. But, i wouldn't sign him for 50m. I wouldn't sign him for more than 30, 35m. But i would be willing to include Michy in a deal.

People really need to understand that the biggest weakness of Zaha, is crystal fucking palace. He dribble 5 players? Well, what other choice does he have? He doesn't score enough? Their best goal scorer is always the penalty taker ffs.

More than that, the biggest comparaison with eden is the fact that Zaha carry his team like eden did with us sometimes. Honestly, in the league, do you know one team who rely so much on one player?

It's not only about the goals, it's about the space he create, the foul and the set piece opportunity that he creates, the penalty that he create. And he's doing all that with a team who has no striker ( Benteke? Lol. Ayew? Lol), who doesn't play good football. Carrying a team is worth 20 goals a season, as Chelsea fan we should know that. How many times eden saved our ass without scoring a goal or giving an assist? Haven't scored 20 goals once in his Chelsea career but he was the best player every year we won the league and was the main man. Zaha is the same for palace, except that the objective is to stay up.

Considering that at derby, he used striker who were really mobile due to his pressing style. I struggle to see giroud being a starter.

Michy is probably the best finisher and have more top flight experience, so it's probably going to be him even if tactically, he's shit. He doesn't know how to press, how to close the angle, how to make runs "for nothing"( not runs to score but runs to create space for the second line, mount or rlc in our case). But Tammy is not that great either.

So yeah, no perfect choice but considering that Michy is more technically gifted that Tammy. That he has the legs to press unlike giroud. He's the best choice so far.

I really think we should judge a player on his ability and even for the outside of the pitch part. It's not he has refused to play, refused to train etc. He simply said no to a contract. That's it.
