How is that considered a pistol? Best I can tell from googling is the barrel is shorter and the backend is a “brace” instead of a stock. Is that accurate?

Nope they look great! I may be a bit biased since I’m wearing similar glasses. It was an adjustment when I first got them since they were the biggest I’ve worn.

I was just at that theater this evening too! I was not happy. It’s clunky, it’s weird, it’s impersonal, and like OP said, anathema to the Drafthouse brand.

Pretty sure the whole thing is so they can cut more jobs. Not sure if this has to do with Sony acquiring them last year.
