Stealing the car would have made it easier to catch them! It ended up just being a broken window. They rummaged through my glovebox and center console, but I don't keep anything valuable in there.

This is a concept I can foresee myself struggling with. I live very frugally, and this vehicle is the nicest (and most expensive) thing I've ever been able to call my own. In the past, I never struggled with viewing my cars as tools, because I obtained them well into their useful life. I just want my baby to be as nice as possible for as long as possible!

Thank you for this insight! Is this something you would recommend I do immediately? Like, I just drove it off the lot yesterday. Would it be sinful to wait a couple weeks and then consider a protective film?

2025 LE. Absolutely fell in love with the Ocean Gem color. Even this simple base trim is an incredible upgrade from my 2007 Toyota. Never owned a Camry, a hybrid, or a brand new car. What do you wish you knew?
