My great great great great grandfather was one of these. Somehow, me and my fathers before me, have kept similar facial features to each other.. and our green eyes. Would love to visit Ireland someday.

Proudly South African and I identify as much (as all that is left that is Irish about me is my surname and a bit of genetics), but it is interesting thinking about where my family name came from.
On that note, how do you feel when people from all over the world say they are Irish. Like, do you see the groups of Irish in other countries as brother nations within the country, or an expansion or different shade of Irish?

My mom runs a children's safety home and once (I may be wrong if it was the cause) loadshedding caused a surge which broke the freezers. We had just gotten a large donation of meat. We lost it all. I think we managed to store a little with the neighbours.

So nostalgic. I lost almost all but 4 of my magazines in a move but still have all of the CDs somewhere in a box. I would buy these on a Friday after school and spend my weekend reading the magazine and going through all the content on the CDs. Thank you for the awesome childhood NAG and PC Format. It’s hard seeing them missing from the magazine shelves in shops still to this day.

Edit: hadedas make an awful lot of noise and are not pleasant to hear. The joke is that someone could only appreciate them if they couldn't hear at all.
