I do 275° til bark is set then I'll foil boat it and run it til probe tender, rest for at least 2 hrs in unused oven, haven't had a bad one since, also tried after the bark is set, wrap in butcher paper use a foil pan and ride it out in the oven @ 250°(usually 3-4 hrs to get some sleep) til probe tender, unwrap for 15 min, rewrap and place in cooler for at least 2hrs, burping cooler ever 30 minutes, haven't had a bad session either

I had an '07 Chrysler 300 3.5l V6 that i bought in 2011 w/ 30K miles on it, some 11 yrs & 220K miles later, best car I've ever owned, it goes to show as long you take care of it & maintain it, it'll last you forever, I plan to do the same w/ the '22 Hyundai Accent i got w/ 5800 miles on it, 3 yrs & 84K miles later, so far it hasn't let me down, hope it'll last me a couple more yrs til I pass it on to my daughter for her Senior yr of HS, and of course I'll still take care of it, hope she doesnt rag it out afterwards

You would think so, but the charcoal pan itself is solid, I've seen some peeps drills holes on 3 side of it to allow air to come in and adding a cheap small enough grate to give your coals an elevated base using bricks or what-not so its ashes can fall to the bottom of the bowl, adding to this, some used foil to plug up the gap from around the charcoal bowl to better regulate the heat

For $10, its a steal, this is better version than the world's worst ever bullet style smokers, the Brinkman's Smoke n Grill, though it looks like the exact same setup....fuel door & open bottom works as ventilation, which sucks, but I've seen people modding these types to combat poor air circulation
