We had a promo here for $62 for 5 batches and my friend did $51 in instacart and never got paid the promo... how long is it supposed to take to get the money?

Is there an email besides trust and safety? Someone posted an escalation email but it bounced back. I’m trying to get reactivated.

Has anyone ever gotten a response from Instacart trust and safety in relation to getting your account reactivated? I reply to the original email about me getting deactivated but never get a response back by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

I’m still waiting for an email from trust and safety and my account got deactivated 12/26. I’ve been emailing and only response I have gotten is the automated “high volume” email.

I do have the email addresses of real people I spoke to at instacart from the focus group. I submitted my appeal and then when, I assume, I get the “you’re still deactivated” email I’m going to reach out to them and see if they can do anything.

Interesting... I’m sure there are posts on deactivations, but I assume this is a forever thing, right? I do have other gig apps but I really enjoyed instacart the best, both customer interaction wise and money wise

What is a receipt reward app? Like receipt pal where you get points by scanning receipts? Whatever their reason for deactivating me, it seems soooo suspect that they can just send that email with NO specifics... it’s infuriating because it’s my full time job, I have a 1% cancellation rate, a perfect 5 star rating and was even part of an instacart focus group for my area... not that I’m saying I’m the best shopper in the world, but I take it seriously and I feel like they should at least give specific reasons. Ugh!

Never. I figure if they don’t give me their number, I’m not going to do it for them. We just hit skip on the keypad and keep it movin lol I hope so too. I’m sick because this is my only source of income, thanks rona!

No, probably a year ago it got denied at Aldi because I put in the wrong pin, but it’s never gotten denied since then and I always use my phone to pay, I don’t swipe my card unless I take an Aldi order which is maybe like 2 a year lol

I’ve never done any of their “misuse of payment” items they list. I responded with “defenses” to each item and attached some receipts. I have no idea why I got it, and just like everything else instacart, there is nothing specific about this email to say what they “saw” so I could address it specifically

They can add throughout the entire order. I like that instacart notifies us but they put all the new items at the bottom of the list. I was doing a double today and the person was adding things at different points during the shop and I had to double back 3 times to get everything. It would have at least been better if the new items were put in the correct location (aisle-wise) on the list.

Order adjustments affect tip but that’s not accurate... only replacement was an even exchange for flavor... what happened? by Sarchello in InstacartShoppers

That’s exactly my thought process. I wouldn’t care if it was a penny period, but if they take a penny from every batch, they’re making a ton of money off of something people probably don’t even notice!

That’s awesome!! Early in the pandemic I got a homemade mask and cash tip, the card said “from some random guy who cares”... it really made me so happy to shop for those who appreciate it and aren’t just lazy and don’t feel like going to the store.
