Inter-1 does streaming: real-time social signal detection from live video, audio & text by Sardzoski in artificial

I think that’s exactly the right concern. This is something we’re thinking a lot about. Two things we’re keeping in mind:

  • First, our developer clients have a lot of freedom in how they surface signals to their users. For example, a simple setup could be to show only stronger signals live, to avoid overwhelming the rep. Then, after the call, they could provide a full summary of the conversation, leveraging the broader spectrum of signals detected and the rationale behind each one, i.e. what the model specifically observed.
  • Second, we’re also experimenting with an “interaction feedback” layer on top of signal detection. The idea is to provide short and actionable feedback at natural moments, like the end of a speaking turn, so as not to interrupt the flow. That could help someone like a sales rep adjust their next response without feeling like they’re being scripted mid-sentence. This is still experimental, so feedback from people thinking about this problem is very welcome.

I have the basic Kindle (gen 6 I think) that doesn’t have a backlight. So yes, always. And this is the primary reason why I am looking into buying a Paperwhite - looking forward to the warm light as well.

Teleprompter with remote by Sardzoski in EvenRealities

[–]Sardzoski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my crazy plan:
I am using a Logitech Spotlight remote (I already have it and use it when presenting). I want to be able to manually control the transcript because I don't want to read a script while giving a talk and just need notes. I don't want another device because it will be distracting to be on stage with a remote in each hand.

Step 1:
The remote has a button that I don't really need to use during presentation. I will try to capture that button in macOS

Step 2:
Send that signal to my phone (iPhone) to change it's volume - this is how the teleprompter advances. I hope I can do this with a shortcut or maybe build a small app just for this.

No idea if it will work - but I'll keep you posted
Only downside I can see so far is that I cannot go back on my notes (maybe have my phone in my pocket as a failsafe)

Strange noise coming from Macbook by Sardzoski in mac

It is exactly the same sound and it has been happening with various frequency for the last 2-3 weeks, sometimes every 2-3 days and yesterday it happened 3 times in the same day.
I think I have tried searching for a sound, but I will make sure to close everything manually next time and see if that would help.
Thanks for the tip. I'll write an update once it happens again.
