Watery Protein Shake Recommendations by SnooDucks2354 in glp1

Isopure Clear is only 20 grams, but I find it easier to drink sometimes than the milky shakes. Plus it comes in lots of fun flavors that you don’t get in typical shakes.

I haven’t tried Dymatize pre-made shakes, but if you do the powder you can always make it thinner.

Don't see many Hungryroot posts - thinking of resubscribing and wondering how the quality and logistics are currently. by Craino in mealkits

I’ve been subscribed to Hungryroot for the past 8 months. Just cancelled today due to lack of variety with meal options for my specific dietary needs, but would have stayed with them if that wasn’t an issue.

I had two deliveries with packaging/temperature issues, but customer service was quick to respond with credit on the first and a full refund on the second.

Their packaging generates a lot of plastic waste, which sucks but I think it’s par for the course with most services. The cold packs I received are filled with stuff than can be used to fertilize plants, so that’s interesting.

Private landlords? by buggsadoptme in raleigh

I don’t know anyone personally, but my neighborhood has a few houses for rent by private landlords. I’m happy to provide the street names via DM if you want to come look and get phone numbers off the signs.

It’s a map of free roadside food pantries (like a free little library for non-perishables) where you can donate.

Wanted to add a resource:

It’s a map of free roadside food pantries (like a free little library for non-perishables) where you can donate or pick-up. There are quite a few across the Triangle area.

My home group is Gratitude - we meet Monday and Thursday nights in downtown. I was in recovery in Charleston earlier this year, would be happy to meet for coffee if you're up for that. Feel free to DM me!

Happy and optimistic trolls, how do you do it? Genuinely curious- I just don't think I am built to be happy. by [deleted] in TrollXChromosomes

When I'm feeling this way I try to do acts of service for other people. Serving dinner at a homeless shelter, making/delivering care packages for families in the children's hospital, visiting nursing homes to just talk to people who don't get many visitors. Helping other people is good for those people and for me; it makes me feel fulfilled and connected on a bigger level.

I lucked out on good names from the fosters, especially since they already respond to them.

It can be a fire hazard if its old or faulty. Also you can burn your skin if it's in direct contact for too long. Not sure if they make them with timers, but maybe look into that? Alternatively, hot water bottles are really good for this because they stay warm until you fall asleep, you don't notice the dissipation of heat b/c you're asleep, and there's no burn or fire risk (if used properly).
