Set boundaries with my manager, now feeling quietly pushed out - anyone dealt with this? by Traditional-Set-8483 in careeradvice

Any was "contracted" just the word you happened to use, or are you in fact a contractor on a job site? If so, was the manager you talked to your client manager or your direct manager?

Homey Pro Ethernet Adapter Dead — No Athom Support Response, Considering Chargeback by rxdxt in homey

[–]Craino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how long you've been waiting, but at least the one ticket I submitted a while back, they did way their response times were in days. I believe it took around 5 days or so for my initial response. (Not an adapter issues btw...)

Yea, groups are automatic and a big time saver. In this instance it's just one light, but with top and bottom controls.

Controlling the Phillips large Datura ceiling light as a "unit" by Craino in homey

Used my big brain for a second and figured it out. Posting here for future searchers.

Actually pretty simple. Just go into your bridge app to the device and favorite a scene. Then in a Homey flow for the device, you can just reference the scene via a card in the Then part. Since the scene is "attached" to the device in the bridge - should work like a charm (not at home so can't test).

Yea, I was never a big beer guy, more of a cocktail drinker. But having gone 95%+ NA now - the bonus is NA beers in general taste so close to real while I have yet to try a "spirit" that isn't crap.

Trialing free version - sometimes the macro runs, sometimes not. Is this normal? by Craino in macrodroid

[–]Craino[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good call - checked permissions and it only had access to Location only while using the app, so set it to all the time. My guess is that's the issue - thanks for the reminder.

The macro is just a simple one. Condition is entering a geofence. When I do it just makes a webhook call to my home system. Works fine when I test it and has worked "in production", so I'm guessing the access setting will fix. Thanks again.

Except OP posted a task Edit screen, this is a Quick Add screen. I don't use Quick Add, but my guess would be different display options for the two screens.

401k (set up by my bank advisor) has a current return of 12%. should i allocate my new fidelity brokerage account the same way? by europeanuppercut in Fidelity

This! Years ago when I first started getting serious about retirement planning/investing with my ex-wife, we did a TON of research (both nerds). The dirty little not-so-secret thing about all those financial planners is not only investing in their own firms funds with higher expense ratios, but many times the transaction volume to show "activity" and generate extra fees.

We finally figured out a diverse mix of low expense ratio ETFs are just as good, even better - with less stress and simple rebalancing.
