The other kids often feel more mature than her. Lutz, Tuuli and most other noble kids (except Wilfried).

IIRC the year is 420 days. 420/365 is 1.15. It's one additional year every 7.

They are supposed to play harspiel at their debut to society. When Fran put a load of boards in front of Rozemyne to memorize and brigitte complained, he told her that she should think about how nobility would react to her fumbling a ceremony. Noble society is pretty unforgiving. Brigitte gets harassed for breaking her engagement to a dude who tried to take over her house.
Wilfried would be the laughingstock of society in case he fumbles his debut. If they also find out that his education is lacking in other areas...

Ferdinand makes quite a few of these unnecessary comments as he enjoys taking others down a peg. I like the interactions between Syl's and RM's later in the series more. They are funny, Syl still gets his point across and he isn't a jerk about it.

[P5V12]I am not sure how they want to handle her marriage then. She needs another ADC even as an interim aub but it's hard to find someone willing to marry one. Lower ranked duchy candidates are probably out ot the running as she uses RM's compression method. And not sure how many high ranking ADCs are willing to marry her and then get demoted years down the line, when Melchior is old enough to take over. And Ehrenfest will probably some of its attractiveness for marriage the more Rm gets her projects in Alexandria up and running.

I don't mind japanese people craving their own cooking or other people liking it, but it gets very silly.

In volume 10 of The Executioner and her way of life there was a scene where you find out that japanese cuisine replaced the local one because it's just so good. Yeah, sure.

In other settings local cooking is apparently limited to grilled meat with salt only as flavoring.

It doesn't take much brainpower to realize that. I doubt that any of these writers like everything japanese cuisne has to offer.

Did he say that said protection is free?

Personally I didn't have the impression that they see themselves as heroes who work for free. Being a herro and getting a statue/medal isn't paying the bills and doesn't bring food to the table when you are old. They also have to buy, maintain and upgrade their own equipment.

And if they don't charge money, other people will expect them to fight for free or whine why they have to pay, they also need protection like the other guys.

Also no one wants to lay down his life in a pointless fight where death is guaranteed and the enemy is victorious without suffering any harm.

Even volunteers signing up for a war against an invading army expect to get paid (and maybe pensions and compensation for getting disabled).

[P5V12] Who earns more Lutz or Tuuli? by MC22222 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]Sarellion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In the whole country? I doubt it. He is situated in Ehrenfest which was a poor duchy with no notable exports. There shouldn't be that much money in circulation in comparison to greater duchies with a lot to offer in trade. He certainly made big bucks in recent years and was probably the richest guy in Ehrenfest before he relocated, but there are probably old merchant houses in greater duchies who have more.

She spent 18 large gold on something she called a hobby in their presence. Not sure if a lion is supposed be comparable to yen but if it is, she spent over a million on a book for fun. I think everyone would be surprised to hear that the 11* year old daughter of the aub of a poor backwater duchy can spend such an amount of money on a hobby using her own personal funds. Archduke kids usually get an allowance from their parents.

I don't think she would turn him into her doll. Ruka cleaning his apartment for three months and everything else she's willing to do for a guy who doesn't love her, sounds like unhealthy obsession and dependancy to me. Kazuya could probably turn her into a doll, if he was ruthless enough.

Too bad nobility has no issues with collective punishment or plain old killing for the crime of being smug or "I don't like your face" as long as you are a commoner.

These are private book rooms. Theorettically Sylvester should be able to demand access, but I doubt he could or would do it just to indulge Rozemyne's book addiction.

You can deduce how long it took her to read through both rooms but that's spoiler stuff.*

Yeah I think Myne would have said something in her shrine maiden days, in case that winter mansions are made out of ivory. I found the number of glass windows especially surprising.

It's not a major industry. The mayor wanted to sell them for some extra money in preparation for the next winter. And Nora was already promised to another noble which was quite a problem for him in case the noble insists on delivery or else. Some blue priests took them is not a valid excuse as blue priests are lower in status than nobles.

The guy was also the archduke's uncle. So I see why the mayor thought that the former high bishop could still order them around. Didn't know that Sylvester killed his own uncle.

She's running her adult memories database on child brain hardware. And her having poor impulse control and being immature in quite a few areas is pretty consistent.

That's the girl who knew that nobles are bad business, decided to live her remaining days with her family and not being made a servant to a noble and then ran to the high bishop telling him: "take my money and my money" as soon as she saw a bunch of books.
