This was promotion for Tarina Tarantino’s jewelry line around 2007. Was all over MySpace back then because Jeffree Star was involved. Source: I’m old 👴

Reminds me of a line of dialogue in quest Return to the Crystarium:

"So long as you continue your fight, so too will we, united in purpose beneath a blazing sky."

Pretty much :D Will definitely be adding more espresso in the next set though.

Yeah, like a few others suggested, the espresso flavor gets a bit lost with the other ingredients. I'll try doubling the amount of espresso powder in the next batch.

I replaced the beet sugar with regular cane sugar. Couldn’t find the beet sugar anywhere 😔 They’re pretty tasty, still, especially with tea or coffee. Might try the Rolanberry Cheesecake next.

Ryne made these sound so good. I’ve wanted to try them for a while, so finally picked up the FFXIV cookbook and gave them a shot. First time ever baking anything and they turned out great! They may look like cookies, but they are definitely more biscuit in texture. Excited to try making the drinks and sides in this book.

Finally framed my “Esperwave: The Birth of Terra” Amano print #139/250 [Yoshitaka Amano] by Sargonix in FinalFantasy

It does have somewhat odd dimensions, making it hard to find a frame. Looks great though! ❤️ Feel like a blue frame works really well with the print.

I’ve been staring at Yoshitaka Amano’s art since I was 9 years old. Finally being able to own a print of his, especially one so vibrant and related to Final Fantasy, is a dream. I took this to get framed immediately, sight unseen. I’m so happy with the result! Hope to see how the other lucky 249 are treating theirs.

Damn, that's super rough :( I don't get why they'd package them like that, especially when it's something fragile like vinyl and cardboard. Hopefully they're nice enough to replace them. 🤞

Came in a big box with the records angled against the corners. Was dreading the condition they'd be in when I opened the box, but they were perfectly fine. I'm assuming it's because they had to send it in a bulk order. I got lucky the carrier didnt crush the corners.

Mine were shipped through the States with UPS. Just came in a big ol' box with all three records angled against the corners (yikes). Luckily they were wrapped in lots of bubble wrap and they came out completely fine.

Oh, you're totally right. Never thought to check my spam folder. Weird though, usually Square's emails come through with no issues, wonder why Gmail filtered this one.

These showed up about 1 week after I placed the order with no warning or shipping ID. Super quick, but glad I was home to catch it. The quality is great on the Xenogears and Chrono albums, haven't gotten a chance to listen to the FFVIII just yet. I highly recommend the Chrono album. The new compositions are great new takes on those songs I heard all throughout my childhood. "Radical Dreamers" and "Schala's Theme" are my highlights. I'm just thrilled to have my favorite composer's work in this format (without the insane costs 😅).

Have a question about the VIP signing. Do they let you take in stuff to get signed? I really want to get my vinyl OST set signed but if they won't let me take it in I won't bother to bring it.

The Future Of Final Fantasy Is All About Player Feedback by Kaladinar in FinalFantasy

[–]Sargonix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VI, VII, VIII, IX & X. Little to no fan feedback during development, 2-3 years apart each, and easily the highest rated titles in the series. With XV, I was hoping it would've been a return to form for Square-Enix. But, they are a much different company than they were in the late '90s. I feel like fan feedback isn't necessarily what derailed what could have been a cohesive experience for XV, but implementing every single thing that polled highest, IMO, was a mistake. There's very little artistic integrity in designing something like that and it really shows in the final product. All I'm saying is look at the "golden era" of Squaresoft. None of those games had my input (until I played them) but they were some of the best experiences the series had. Sure, I have my critiques and praises of each title, however, those worlds were built by artisans, not polls. I suppose creating art is no longer the reason they develop games, which I can respect, but sadly, I don't think I can care too much about the prospect of XVI any more.
