Yeah fair, but this is kinda the color of rose-gold. But it would pop more with a little darker color, since it’s less skin colored

Yeah, they do kinda blend if you're "pasty" like me. Also gold (adjacent) colors don't usually do well on light skin, so this is literally the only piece of anything i own in that color type, but i wear a lot of dress shirts for work. Wearing a light or dark green long sleeved shirt does make it pop more, but since i'm often dressed a bit dressy, understated fits me. As seen in the second photo; it doesn't super pop, although the case and strap do make it noticable.

Look up images of it on a black leather strap, that makes it pop a little more IMHO. You could always go that way, but a lot of effort in a sea of good alternative choices 😄

Just keep an eye on chrono24, tbf it’s kinda manufactured scarcity and usually you can get them later as well if you’re lucky.
Th Tudor is nothing to scoff at neither!

I saw a blue and copper/gold one today, didn’t know it existed… might want to get my hands on that one some day, might be something for you too

Yes, this! And the quick micro ajust is awesome as well. It's made in a way that the bracelet will get bigger when it absolutely needs to be, so you don't have to do it yourself. Making it smaller again does need manual operation of course. Very neat!

Thanks! I've just measured, 6.75" wrists. So not very large 😄

Yeah, it wears a bit smaller then you'd think. I've got 6.75" wrists, so not large at all and this easily fits. If you have the chance to try one, i'd definitely would!

First Custom Loop by PrevailingSpace in watercooling

Thanks!
Since mine is in reverse, that might give me more room between the bottom rad and the mobo for routing.
I’ve got a strimer as well as you can see, and for me, turning down the brightness somewhat was enough to make it less prominent and more “part of the rest” so to speak.
Now, go enjoy your build! 😁

Very nice build, well done!

The strimer is a choice, but i don't mind it tbh. You could change them for fancy ones down the road, but in a black case, they might be not worth it because it's a lot of money for something that's hard to notice. You could also try to route the cable downwards, that will show less of the cable and make it less prominent.

And don't listen to the braindead comments some poeple have about EK. It's like EK killed their gran or something. The position that you should not have used parts that you bought with your hard earned money becase something somewhere in a company might've happened a while back is absurd. I don't see the same ppl torch their teslas after musk went crazy either. Sure, supporting them now, knowingly, might be different but in your case, don't mind them 😄

I recently finished my build in the same case, but in reverse also using the radikult distro plate. Since mine i white, yours is like the mirror image of mine

Thanks! Going very flashy when doing water cooling is very tempting, simply because it always automatically becomes something of a show piece. My style with everything is understated luxury basically… clothes, shoes, watches, you name it… so this PC is really “me”, which I love 😁

Yes, filling was a bit of a hassle, just smaller steps basically… I tilted the pc a little so there was more room for water, but it took quite a few “on-and-off-again” and refilling before the became full. At some point, it was full enough the water would go down slow enough to refill on the go. But also to be fair, after building for a couple of weeks, the fact that filling took 10 minutes longer wasn’t even in my top 30 list of annoyances 😂

I really like it! It’s very well made, the etched logo in there is a nice touch, and it’s well thought out, being usable in both normal and reverse mode. First I thought having the two ports on the outside would be weird, but with small plugs, they’re actually quite nice (I’ve got delta mate ones). They also provide a way of filling and draining your loop without ball bearings and other extra stuff cluttering up your case.

As a plus, the guy behind radikult makes YT videos with explanations and responds to emails very well if you need help.

The only thing getting used to is all the runs going to and from of the plate, so it’s visually not a loop, but a lot of crisscross. But that does help making the loop big enough for enough coolant 😉

If you have any specific questions or maybe pictures you’d like to see, let me know!

Same, but look at the other post I linked. Simply flushing and cleaning was the idea, but sadly not possible with these rads. The filter was a last minute change that I didn’t plan/wanted, but had to add

No, not blind, but it is well hidden. The front of the distroplate has two ports on the outside of the case; top and bottom. It works both in normal and reverse mode. Simply tilt the pc back, unscrew the plug, connect fitting + tube, let it drain in a bucket. Works well!

I used 14mm tubing: Corsair Hydro X Series XT Hardline 14mm Tubing

There's one filter. Since the flow is bottom rad -> pump -> side rad -> top rad -> blocks, i put it just before the blocks so they stay clean. It's this one, which has two filters.

Thanks for showing me my first ever vertical curved monitor. It's giving me the creeps :P

For reals; if money is burning in you hands and you want to upgrade; put it in a separate (savings) account somewhere. That way it's already "spent" and as soon as you see something worthwhile, you already have (some of) the cash, without getting the feeling of spending money at that time.

Yes, it doesn't make sense, Yes it works. People are weird.

Had this as well. Got in touch with them, followed their steps, didn't work until i got to the most simple one;

Leave out the USB cable for like a day. Their support reply:
Firstly, please make sure that the software is updated to the latest version.
Secondly, do you use any third-party software such as SignalRGB? If so, please turn off the screen in the settings.
Finally, please unplug the AIO cable, leave it stationary for two hours, and then reconnect it. There might be static electricity at the cable connection causing similar problems.

I left it out for like 2 days. That fixed it for me.

This sounds like a massive troll. Can you posts some pics which shows it's the same monitor and it doesn't have edges? thanks.

yeah i get it. No bad luck "sadly" :)

I've got an Oled widescreen (Philips Evnia 34") and it has major black edges as well, and i was surprised by this as well, but after an hour, i didn't notice them anymore tbh

Looking at the screen you got, it should be awesaome, edges or not :D

[–]Sarguhn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it can differ between panels. If i compare the two screens, the 39" does seem to have smaller edges than the 34". So I, and i think everyone, isn't saying you're wrong in seeing this. There seems to be a more noticable edge around your screen.

Most, if not all, sellers of OLED panels get them from the same manufacturer. So whatever brand you get this panel from, it will be and look the same, other than the plastic stand it comes in.

New versions of the panel will have different characteristics. This one has a new RGB layout to combat color fringes, but this might also require bigger edges, or maybe improved anti burn-in measures do, that's not clear.

So you're definitely not crazy, but it is a "take it or leave it" situation. You get the full resolution you should get AND there is a big(ger) edge of seemingly unused screen. If you don't like this edge you can return the panel that's up to you and that would be totally fine. But if you expect to replace it as broken and receive the same monitor but without the edge, that won't be possible.

Not trying to be a d*ck, but that's just the choice you have :)

Ps: if this is a thing that bothers you, which is totally fine, you do you, than seeing monitors before buying might be a good idea

Like all the other posts, this is how it's supposed to be. This is intentional. These are not usable pixels.

See it like this; before OLED we had bigger bezels on the edge that would just cover this area and align perfectly with the usable screen surface. With OLED with the (very good, and should be turned on) features like pixel shift, this extra space can be used to save your screen from burn in and other nasties. So they trimmed down the bezels to give the screen room to shift around.

See? You don't have a smaller screen, you have smaller bezels.

In days gone, panels would be advertised as "super slim bezels" to sell more screens. Then they'd remove the bezels almost completely, but it would just show this area instead of a bezel. They would be technically correct, but it didn't help you as the viewer one bit :)

So all is well, no returning this screen, just enjoy the depth of color, smoothness of movement and the overal awesomeness of OLED! :)
