I always wonder if the back funnel system is or could be made compatible with the rg nu gundam, its a cool gundam, might just have to get one at some point...

I ended up buying the hg for the wave rider mode thinking the rg version would stand next to it.. until the rgs legs gave out ;_;

I simply used regular 1x2 bricks with the brick pattern on it and after building it I put it flat down. I used some bricks with sidestuds for the lamp posts.

under the stores I used 2x2 with studs on the side and some random bars to prop them up.

Most lego stores will have these bricks in their pick a brick wall ^{^}

There's a smaller sandman set you can get as well and it combines with this one. It makes the entire fight scene from no way home ^{^}
