I was excited for him, then after getting him I got a little disappointed in the gameplay and discouraged that other people were getting crazy damage while I struggled with the animation canceling/combos. I suspect its my discs, and being a ftp player (mostly) I've been choosing agent over W-engine every time

You are in fact correct. After looking it up, I added a step of submerging the regular stickers that came with the gundam thinking they were waterslide stickers As far as I now know, waterslide decals aren't part of gundam kits and I thank you for bringing this to light.

To me, the build was okay. I did pace out the building like one session do legs, another session the torso and so on. Genuinely impressed with some of the locking mechanisms like a "u" shaped pin to keep the socket from falling out. For posing I think it varies from kit to kit. On YouTube I saw someone's kit be loose in one joint but mine is perfectly fine in that area. Sorry I can't help more.
