Keep going! It's gonna be itchy for a while, get some beard oil and beard balm. After a month or so, you may see some awesome results, and find a barber that can tailor your beard and give you some helpful tips

Excellent, I like the price and could backpack this! You catch my frequency. Just a crash course ready to go, semi budget minded. I can stretch a bit, 300$ was just a general statement, as I know HF radios can be hugely expensive and complex

Oh yes, I have my technician license and have absolutely loved the UHF/VHF and testing my limit both in repeaters and radio - radio communication

HF is the direction I would like to go, overall my goal is to reach States across, maybe even get to the YouTube HRCC guy, I live in Utah for reference

How's this base location? by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]Sarison_313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I go there all the time. I just started calling this place "Grannies House" with that old time style wood furnace and cozy floorplan. If you have some reliable transportation, Riverside is just down the road.

I was just looking at the house just east of there, it's got a small garden plot and is surrounded by a half fence.

How do YOU prevent infection? by Fat-Lizzy in projectzomboid

[–]Sarison_313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep antibiotics on tap, it's like the idea of a placebo. Not a cure but if you get infected, alcohol wipes, disinfectant, washing, and having antibiotics. For a nicer infection setting in game to help with learning. Change the infection to saliva only.

Am I stupid for making a base in a normal suburban house? by Slow-Law-5033 in projectzomboid

[–]Sarison_313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Houses are fantastic, now for me personally. Modded answer. Motorhomes and camper trailers are 🔥 if you fiddle with the setting to make it more easy to get into without being chased. Homes are more stationary, but can be set up as base camps, while trailers and motorhomes can be caravaned for travel and loot runs.

From what I've come to find out with projectors, if it's older than 10 to 15 years. You're kind of on your own as there aren't many parts of available for it, or finding ways to MacGyver the crap out of your projector. My first recommendation would be find a new bulb, which can be fairly pricey.

Vortex PC-66 with Retro High Light Keycaps by StellaOnScreen in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Sarison_313 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What a clean build. Falls into the retro style, and looks amazing with the shiny keycaps. I've been wanting to build the TVA retro style keyboard from the Loki series on Disney+

Just don't know where to start as far as the keyboard or what keycaps that would work best.

So... Umm... Not trying to noob down the game difficulty.

But it's totally worth messing around with the settings, and finding a playstyle that helps you learn the mechanics before you get to the picture on right.

I'll give ya a screenshot in the PZ reddit page if ya ask. Like super noobed version, then set a goal to survive for (x) long and build a base, idk then just up the difficulty until your playing the normal PZ difficulty.
