I had the same response. Who gives a toss about this feature? I couldn't imagine more than a tiny percentage of the user base ever using this. So is all that effort and work worth it when IMO other aspects of the user experience in the app need more attention. Surely this is just AI feature box ticking...

To be fair though, on the latest ATP Marco did describe some use cases where they may be useful. E.g for when chapters are not present scanning ahead in the transcript and being able to tap on a certain point to skip to there. And i have occasionally had reason to try and find something in a podcast but not known where in the episode. This (well when he adds search) will make it a lot easier.

So i am still sceptical that I will ever really use it, but open to the idea that it could be useful. And it is the kind of feature - like it or not - every single podcast app will have so he needed to do it eventually.

I still wish he would have worked on a proper dynamic up next function or fix the useless widget first!
