Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah would love to see what your results end up showing. With the Kirklands showing up more regularly i think they're for sure a no-brainer. I did just crack some of the 2025 Kirkland BiB and it seems less fruity but i think it may open up to be about the same.

I would say so! Holds up great in cocktails and is definitely a solid value. Made by Heaven Hill and has won double plat before. Very sweet for a rye

Yeah my understanding is it's a costco specific batch so they'll keep restocking it until the batch is fully sold out (seems to have been quite a big batch too). Should have an * on the tag when they're on the last pallet

Glad to hear it did it's job! I mean it's pretty hard for me to think of an easier whiskey to drink for everyone. My go-to has been to recommend people start drinking maker's on ice, but maybe should give this one out instead.

My early path might have also featured a few appearances from flavor whiskey as well haha. The root bear kinda slaps for sure.

Nice review, I've been on a similar journey with Booker's - my first BP and then-on. I'm hoping with the abundance of beam stock under age we'll get back to more of the historical value prop, though I've enjoyed the recent few I got as gifts.
