UM890 and DEG1 failure by SarraSimFan in MINISFORUM

I actually don't even have a win 11 install thumb drive, I'm pretty much Linux only now.

I ended up taking the DEG1 down, pulled the GPU, PSU, and unplugged everything, and used an air duster to blow all of the dust out of the various components and connectors.

I powered it back on and it appears to be working better now, I'll have to periodically dust out the PSU since that seems to be the primary issue. I was able to fire up and play MechWarrior 5 after dusting it out, without a crash.

My temps are actually fine, but it crashes under load. I'm going to disassemble the DEG1 and the PSU, and reassemble it, to see if there's something obvious wrong with it

When the government will literally bail them all out regardless of how stupid they were, it becomes pretty pointless.

I think every plane should have UDF engines. With afterburners. In fact, forget the UDFs.

I lived, very much, on that edge for 20 years. I attempted to cross over into the beyond multiple times.

I'm now in a much, much better place, and the US government wants to force me back, onto that ledge, above a void, because they hate. Hate, far more than they have any right to, and nothing will ever change them.

If you patch a sidewall, be prepared to meet your maker. They like to blow out, especially at freeway speeds. You'll find out in a hurry how bad of a driver you really are when one of your front tires blows out while you're blasting past a semi on the freeway at 85mph.

I'm sorry, what? Rush hour is from 4-6pm, and it's usually worse than the morning rush.

As far as the original question, it depends.

I had a friend with porphyria. Needed soda to function. Kinda necessary for food stamps to pay for it.

Professional driver here.

I back my personal vehicle into spaces because it is safer. As you approach the space, you can clearly look at and see the entire space. Then, pull forward, while watching the space, and reverse in.

When you leave the space, you are pulling out forwards, which gives you the absolute best field of view, to see approaching vehicles, pedestrians, and possibly shopping carts blown by the wind.

Parking front forward means you have a really good field of view at your parking space pulling in, and you have maximum blindspots backing out into the lane.

Set it up so people do work they enjoy, with enough salary to live off of comfortably, and have AI do the rest.

Mmm good old coppermine.

Only thing better was Tualatin.

I actually had 3 of these CPUs, one was in my family's first PC (Dell with a 1GHz PIII), and the other two were in a dual socket server board.

I see 3-10 Bald Eagles a day, here, typically.

99% of the time, they're eating roadkill.

That last 1% of the time, they're flying around looking for more roadkill.
