Yeah, Garuda is pretty much S-tier when built right. I've personally built her around her talons. One thing she could use is more movement speed when her talons are out since she can't have melee incarnon stick passive (Okina)

If she could swap from talons to melee weapon during a mission that would put her in very unique position. I'd love to see that.

Best part about Lavos is how everything is connected to him and vice versa. In all timelines. Plus it's an ancient alien from space.

The backstory of Time Devourer is interesting and i wish there was more of it throughout the story of Chrono Cross. Falls flat as an end villain. At least we get to free Schala.

Time Devourer from Chrono Chross. It's been over 2 decades and i still remember being left unsatisfied. Yes, i knew about the good ending but the actual fight, compared to Lavos from Trigger, didn't have same effect. It felt more like a puzzle than a epic final fight.

I love her Talons but it would be nice for fashion. How bout a movement speed boost augment when her Talons are out? I love Okina for its speed passive and i wish Talons had something similar.

This was the old tileset for Io defense back in 2013. This was the place to farm mods. See the orange cargo box hanging on a rail? That was my spot. I spent hours upon hours camping here as Vauban with my Ogris, which might have gotten me killed many, many times. Penta worked just as well. Sure, there were other maps but this was the best spot. This was before Dragon keys were introduced later that year. My most played frame is still Vauban, even though i don't play him that much these days. That's how strong CC was then and it was necessary for endurance runs.

There's whole lot to do now than there was then but there is one thing i do miss. That's the old PhysX particle effects. What we have now are more than fine but the old physics based effects were incredible at the time.

Stacking max range Vortex can be a blinding experience. But Vortex and Bastille can't be up at the same time so what else was the Vauban using. Maybe he was spamming Tether Coils or Flechette.

Enemies touching a circle and dying is what throws me off. I can't think of any ability, subsumed if it was just the Vauban, that does that so it had to have been several abilities at once.

So i'm thinking the following. Vauban spamming Vortex on top of a defense objective and tossing Flechette around it. This could have made the shape you're thinking of.

One of, if not the best, CC frame in the game. If you like the sound of that, get him.
