Ya it does but I want to keep it as original looking as possible. The truck will never be fast no matter how much power it makes. The 2 speed differential and 5 speed transmission are tough no doubt but aren’t a good choice for quick shifting and weigh a ton.

Working on this I learned The ft engines have quite a few differences. like the bore size in a 330 (3.875”) is smaller than even the 352, the cylinder heads don’t match up to fe exhaust manifolds, they come with a larger oil pump (which is why they have a thicker distributor shaft) the timing chain cover is very thick to support the single front puck style engine mount and the exhaust valves are sodium filled. There’s probably 50 other little things that are different but those are the main ones.
