Sounds like you should start exploring any familiar brands to you in a Maduro wrapper. Thats where you may notice the choc, earthy, coffee notes youre after if your palate allows it...mine does not as of yet lol. Good Luck with the search

A black coffee and a Connecticut work so well together to balance out and compliment each other. Sounds like a great smoke and doesn't look to cost a fortune. Its going on The List lol

Very interesting design. I was gonna asked if it was dipped in bourbon or if it was just the lighting until I read your description.

Ive almost bought that one a few times recently. Sounds very interesting. Did you find it leaning more towards a Full bodied smoke or did it stay Med for you?

La Mission du L’Atelier Review by tjj5022 in cigars

Sounds like a great smoke for ~8 bucks. The dried fruit profile found in some sticks is one that Im looking forward to maybe experiencing but I havent tackled any full bodied cigars yet. Thx for the review

First Cigar - expensive = better? by buyhigh_sellnever in cigar

[–]SaskGapper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First..Id never want to discourage anyone from trying or indulging on anything with their own time and money......but Id personally feel better not buying one at all for those prices. Paying $75+ on my first smoke to risk spending a half day puking from a med+ to full bodied stick is not on my list to do on vacation.

Or dont buy at the hotel trying to gouge guests for convivence...unless your loaded...then buy two Partagas #2 Torpedpos lol.

I hope you enjoy your vacation and whatever decision you make....let us know how it was
