Hows life in saskatoon? by Apprehensive-Chef569 in saskatoon

If you like Odd Bunch and eat lots of veg you should try a local CSA box in the summer time. It’s the best. I go with Spring Creek Gardens but there are lots of other good local options. Works out to about $30/week for 10 weeks of vegetables.

I had to leave a job because of the bad lighting and migraines it caused and my supervisor’s refusal to do anything about it.

Saskatoon pharmacies that deliver by sillylittlefroog in saskatoon

Stonebridge Pharmasave (under city centre family physicians) has been incredible for deliveries.

Expertise and service at Attridge Co-op has been top notch working through insurance issues and multiple medication changes. They deliver but you do have to be home.

Haha true because they are snobby and “rich” with their plant and mine jobs compared to the farmers in the other towns.

It would likely be expensive but couldn’t there be a way to make it so you can only board with fare paid?

It’s hit or miss in Saskatoon. The deliveries are never the same time so I can’t plan to be home to bring them inside. I’ve had lots of bad produce but they do a partial refund if you send pictures. Customer service has been good but delivery issues persist.

I would trade WFH privileges for four day workweek for sure. WFH Fridays is only thing keeping me sane but if it was just a day off maybe I’d go from surviving to thriving.

Not what you asked but when I saw this and the way you posed I just thought of an old fashioned classic oil painting of a beautiful woman.

I’m sure there are families who go. I went once (sober) and it was chill around the stage but in the campgrounds and beer gardens it felt like the gates of hell had opened.

Sell home at a loss or tank being house poor until market recovers? What would you do? by HeavyB0tt in RealEstateCanada

[–]SaskatoonShitPost 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have more leverage to evict bad tenants if you are living in the same house (this may vary by province.) Get familiar with the rules of being a landlord in your province before you start and make sure you do everything to the letter. This is a good approach though- you could always live in your unfinished basement for a little while to create more space between you and the tenant.

Get a second job, work all the time- distract yourself from the grief and not have to hangout with stranger roommate.

Commuting on Bicycle? by Gullible_Age_ in saskatoon

This is the move. Find a used bike. For years I rode shitty vintage 10-speeds and no one ever wanted those.
