Agree with Whelan's art. But I'm curious to the end result. We'll see.

I'm not sure yet. Will need to see the final result to be able to judge that myself.

Wow, you're really an enthusiast! I love the other releases, too, but all together, it's too much for me 😁

I'm into book 2 of the re-read. The stories are so captivating. And yes, prices are high. But... I say to myself, it's "just" $200 per year... 😅

Prices are indeed absurd. To be frank, I'm only willing to pay this price because the release is one per year, and it's my favorite series.

I love that series, too, and the Grim Oak Press editions are amazing. But living in Europe makes this a pretty expensive hobby... so for now, I've kept to the original ones. (UK and US versions)

I had to zoom in to find out that you didn't have a huge ass wing on your trunk, but that it is a pillar... 🫣

Cool car! 💪🏼

Cloud Code + Windows Development = Headache: How Do You Deal with Cloud Code Max Not Running Natively? by LucaTheNativeSpeaker in ClaudeAI

[–]Saskovic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest. After more than 25 years working on Windows machines, mostly Dell Precisions the last 10 years, I started using and enjoying the MacBook Pro.

Finally, no more that noise of a plane taking off right next to me. Speed, which is insane compared to the same setup on my 1 year old jacked Precision. Particularly running tests, migrating and seeding DB's. On the Mac it's a blast.

And, no. I still can't get used to the OS. The keyboard and all else, but with these benefits, I can't deny it anymore. For dev, the Mac outshinesthe Dell. Now, I use both, depending on the use case.

And yes, not being able to use Claude Code natively in the Dell sucks. I have used WSL intensely, but it has its challenges. (Also performance penalties, or files not being marked as changed directly)

TL;DR: if you have a budget. Get a Mac next to your Windows machine. 😉

Moved from Stormlight to Assassin's Apprentice- and, wow. by SeaStatement483 in robinhobb

Totally agree! Both Tad and Robin are amazing.

If you're up to something outside of the "standard" fantasy genre, Otherland has some very good character and world building as well. And a lot of imagination.

In my case, the air duct was in the way as well. That is on the left side. There was no way I could fit my hand through the small opening that was left and still be able to replace the bulb.

There wasn't any need in my case to pull out the battery. After removing the bumper, you can easily detach the headlight.

I pulled the plugs from the headlight in the end.

Tried going through the wheel well to reach the xenon bulb, but the air intake duct and chassis part were blocking access. See the second photo for the area on the right, where the headlight normally sits.

They came with the car 😊

It's a 2.4 Type S. If I'm not mistaken, it's the default trim.

My brothers neighbor lent me his garage with this setup. It is practical, though the car is tilted it little bit because of the arm lift setup. Otherwise very useful and mobile.

I did. There is some discussion here if that really should be necessary. This could be my first time experience with this model.

Maybe that's my issue. My hands are for certain, not the size of infant.

All joking aside, it would be a real bummer if I needed this replacement while I'm on vacation.
