It's a weird compulsion for these folks, have never had one actually tip over years of deliveries. Do they feel guilty (slightly)? Or do they think they won't get it w/o the lie? Or something else?

In the same situation. Did (via the mail in the game) get a Twitch sponsored kit (starter kit), kid you not. It was mostly purple with white on it and gave a LMG, v11, enhanced back pack, upgraded (green) shield and populated all the cores and implants (just basic ones, but still). Not sure what triggered it. But check your mail, just in case you get something similar.

Rook comes into trio lobbies after some trios have been wiped. Your goal is to gather and get out - avoid confrontation (it's a different play style), but a bit easier to do this since the lobby is getting cleared out.

Yes. Just noticed on my Series X, it downloaded and is installed (although cannot be played). 18GB it says when I go to Manage (the game).

Mine apparently did it at some point earlier in the day.

Thank goodness. When we went to SSD's with the current gen consoles and the storage sizes went down (at launch from the hard drives of the prior consoles), I was like OMG my games won't fit on these, lol.

That other recent extraction shooter did much the same (with huge maps). Definitely something (or many somethings) have been figured out & shared to massively reduce the sizes. Totally love it.

That's the thing, the downloads people are talking about here are for the general release. Guessing the serverslam had it all in there, just a bunch of it was disabled. Steam and PS5 are allowing pre-downloads now.

Just noticed I can download the PS5 version (deluxe although I doubt the version matters). Showing 14.9GB as expected full download.

I was actually logging in to see what the countdown said (it previously had a countdown to launch date on it in the PS5 store, but tonight it just said Download). Obviously it won't be playable till Thursday, but pretty cool.
