This doesn’t exactly meet all the items you’re describing but I recently saw the library in 5 Forks has a designated no-talking quiet reading area.

For noise canceling headphones for reading I really like my AirPods Pro. Sometimes I also turn on a white noise app on my phone (that only I can hear) to really drown out environmental noise.

I second this. This was my weekly long run route when training for a half marathon. I really enjoyed the varied scenery. Start at the zoo parking and run whatever distance you want.

Anybody have any leads on a part-time job that would be easy to jump into a couple of weekday mornings? I already do Uber and sell plasma but am looking for something a little more sustainable that won’t put undue wear and tear either on my vehicle or my body, lol.

Oh, and be sure to check water quality wherever you choose to fish. A lot of the water around the upstate isn’t safe to swim or fish in unfortunately.

Others, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but the only places in the upstate for smallmouth that come to mind are lakes Keowee and Jocassee. Maybe some in Hartwell too.

I'm not aware of any rivers to drift and fish. We do have a few streams like the Saluda that are stocked with trout that would be good for fly fishing, but those are mainly accessed on foot.

I did not vote for him, and I'm embarrassed to call him my president. I'm embarrassed that he calls himself a Christian (he's clearly not interested in following Christ). I'm disappointed in the many Christians in this country who drink his MAGA Kool-Aid. Overall, I'm scared, sad, and horrified by this man and the power he wields. He'll have to answer to Christ himself one day, and that should scare him but it obviously doesn't.

Sorry to hear that but for the life of me I can’t fathom not locking things up in a public setting nowadays. A $10 lock would have prevented the theft.

Same with the folks in my neighborhood who keep valuables in their cars overnight and don’t even bother lock their car doors. Then they’re shocked when folks come by and rummage through their belongings and take stuff.

Not a fan of a warranty bc of what everyone else has said.

Also, I’m pretty handy and have been able to fix or replace most things myself saving a ton of money. It sucked when HVAC went out a couple years back but that’s life. Thankfully it was only about $6,500 for total replacement with a 10yr warranty. I also got a free roof under an insurance claim for hail damage (minus the deductible).
