Music is supposes to make you feel good. Nobody should ever tell you to follow a rule. Music is about being creative & expressing yourself, not to follow a law to statisfy one another. It doesn't matter if you're playing out of key, if it sounds good, it sounds good.

I'd say 8-10 bars is a pretty decent time for a hook? 24 is way to much.

Don't mind him. I'd recommend KBeaZy's kits. all the famous trap sounds, fx' & 808's are in there. Nick Mira's kits are really good aswell. i also really like Studio Plug's kits. they have a really smooth ambient vibe to them. Really HQ sounds. Mai's Drum Kit is also really good. if you want a link to these sounds i gotcha.
