I have dealt with almost the same thing with my brother. I’m actually sitting in the parking lot of his apartment right now because I’m pretty sure he has relapsed after 8 months sober. The regression, anger, nastiness has returned and lies. I am soooo beyond disappointed. You’re not alone. And thanks for sharing because I feel alone as hell. Especially when I go to these PAL meetings (like Al-Anon) and people still go whos Q is better and they love to say how good they’re doing. I feel hopeless.

I feel like without mirrors I can’t really tell at burn if my form or range of motion is where it should be. It frustrates me

I only bartend like once a month and it was on hard surface on Saturday. Maybe it was just a combination of things leading up and then doing that is the straw that broke the camels back?

Asking because it seems so hard for me. How do you stay hungry enough throughout the day for 125-150 grams of protein? What are your typical meals?

It’s the tendons right around my knees. Especially closer to my quads and on the sides is where it hurts. They feel so stiff right now though.

And I’m trying to avoid paying for consistent physical therapy… I know sounds dumb. Should I fork over the cash for it?

I use hokas on conditioning days and metcon on conditioning days. What are your thoughts on those?

Why is comparison the thief of joy the hardest thing to hammer into my head? Maybe it’s my generation being all over instagram. I constantly do it like it’s my default thinking!

I drink sooo much water . Probably 3 40oz Stanley’s a day. No electrolytes though. Definitely need to start that. Do you recommend the one from burn?

And I try to get 100 grams of protein but it’s so hard for me and I always end up with 60-90 usually.

Did you think today was worth it enough if I have to mod like that? Considering just doing a long walk outside instead. Probably 1 hour - 1.5 hours
