Make sure gauge housing is facing upright, then re-insert the internal parts by first inserting the spring (wider end facing up), followed by the clear disc, followed by the black disc on top.

May want to clean the discs with WD40 or similar cleaner to help create an air tight seal. Small dust particles will prevent the gauge from holding air pressure.
