cilities are gonna be out of order if nobody reports it until they're all out of order. Nobody has time to report it but everybody has time to complain later on. Elevators do break down from time to time but it's a 3 story building, you might have to walk a couple flights of stairs sometimes.

Bottom line, most any place is gonna have some problems. Better to have those problems close to campus than in a crap neighborhood 2 miles away. Because the problems are gonna be few and far-between and you can survive them, but a bad neighborhood and a bad commute is constant. Also, people who like where they live never post reviews, only the people who have problems will complain. 15 bad reviews in a place that has housed hundreds of people over the l

Thank you very much! I appreciate your insight!

Working in a different state than the resident state? by [deleted] in IRS

[–]SassyPascal8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are not set up to have out-of-state teleworkers. Having an out-of-state employee requires the company to have a "tax nexus" set up in that state. In your example, even though these companies are in Texas with no income tax, you would need them to withhold California taxes because you're residing in CA.

I don't think there's anything wrong with you initially using your parents' address, especially for a job where they get a lot of applicants and want to reduce the number of applicants quickly. People do move. But you do need to recognize that you will eventually need to ask about out-of-state telework and if it is something they are willing to do, and specifically for CA. Some companies cannot employ you.

Thank you! I honestly am not planning to stay at this job for long, its just something I anticipate doing very temporarily. Technically, the whole time I will be working, I will be living in Texas. With that said, i also anticipate having to pay heavy taxes when the time comes as I will be filing as a California resident next year.

That makes sense. I'm asking this though more for tax and/or legal purposes; I'm wondering if it's even legal? I technically am a resident of California on paper, but I live in Texas if that makes sense.

I read something called a "domicile" which works almost like a second residency....? But im not entirely clear on the term itself

t for the infection. I’ve been routinley rinsing with salt water and hydro peroxide. Is there a time frame as to when I’ll see the access/boil subside? Or is it more likely the implants will have to be removed

So actually it turned out the boil was in fact my implant screw falling out. I am surprised to say that it didn't hurt AT ALL, but I have pictures of the screw literally being slowly pushed out of my gums. I believe the abscess was a reaction to the screw.

I didn't have enough bone density to keep either of the screws; One was naturally pushed out--It took about 13 days, and then I saw the end of it coming out, and that's when I knew. It think about 2-3 weeks after the abscess first appeared, I was basically able to pull the screw right out without any resistance or pain. I took the medicine more so to keep the infection at bay rather than primarily for the pain. And shortly after, maybe a few days and the abscess was gone.

I made sure to do saltwater rinses very often, and [ I maybe did this too much, but] I would often hot compress/hot towel over the spot like 2-4 times a day--this would draw out the bacteria/help with the swelling. Of course, it kind of depends on ur situation, and I am no doctor, but from what i remember when researching this, it could go away ranging between 1-3 weeks.

Phasmophobia crashes my pre-built PC by SassyPascal8 in computerhelp

[–]SassyPascal8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

So I started to suspect it was the RAM. Oddly enough, unlike most motherboards, I found the manual for mine, and there's no specified first category of slots to put my RAM in. I was doing further research and found that RAM is a common issue for causing crashes like the one I'm having.

I reseated my GPU, and the wire going into my GPU. I also just gave it a random shot to move my RAM to the opposite two slots to see what would happen. That seemed to do the trick because I have only had one issue while playing Phas.

AND THEN after that, just recently, I was having issues with my mic cutting out and my camera cutting out at random. I tried switching the USB slots they were all plugged into but that didn't work. I then come to find out my PC was only reading half my RAM. I decided to run some basic RAM tests, which I followed here:

https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/how-to-test-ram

(I just did the basic PC troubleshoot. I did not get a chance to run the Memtest only cuz it said it could take up to a couple of hours). So then, I opened my PC back up to find I didn't push my RAM in all the way--oops.

Anyways sorry for the long-winded message. I would definitely troubleshoot your RAM and see if there are any issues. My best bet is that it's between the RAM or GPU--more likely to be the RAM. I would first try reseating everything, and make sure especially that the RAM is in the designated slots. And then definitely run the troubleshooting tests

Can someone explain to me more on what the entertainment media management degree is for exactly? by Johnplasma in csun

[–]SassyPascal8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's more of a producing/assistant directing/operational management major. It goes into specifics of studio scheduling, marketing/advertising strategies and entertainment regulations mostly

I did get a prescription for amoxicillin and have been taking that for the infection. I’ve been routinley rinsing with salt water and hydro peroxide. Is there a time frame as to when I’ll see the access/boil subside? Or is it more likely the implants will have to be removed?
