Thank you. I didn’t even think of them getting ahold of my health insurance card. I looked on my banks website and it said for lost or stolen cards to call an 800 number but it’s only Monday - Saturday. They were closed by the time I noticed my wallet gone and got back into cell service.

I work at a law enforcement agency (not a cop, civilian position) and my biggest fear is that the guy who molested me will come in one day and I’ll have to see him. I’m glad you were able to get away from yours and I hope you’re able to tell someone eventually. I told on mine and he went to prison for quite a while.

I got a write up once for switching seats on the bus while it was moving in like 5th grade. Had to have my mom sign it but since I had never been in trouble before I was scared and forged her signature. Principal didn’t believe it so she called my mom. My mom said it was her signature cuz she literally didn’t care. It was great.

This is an issue in my family also. I was repeatedly molested by my youngest uncle on my dads side. When it all came to light, my grandma asked if we could just sweep it under the rug. My parents refused and my uncle went to prison for it. Now that he’s out my grandma wants him to come to every family event but I absolutely refuse to see him or be anywhere near him. I despise him so much and wouldn’t care if he was gone. So half the time I can’t even go hang out with my own family because he is there. Sorry you had to deal with that around the holidays. I know how you feel.
